The influence of the subfloor on your industrial floor

The quality of the subfloor determines the strength of your floor. The subfloor on which the tiled floor is laid must indeed be able to bear all forces exerted on it. Besides static and dynamic loads, account must be taken of sheering forces as a result of different expansion coefficients of the tiled floor and subfloor with thermal loading.

Effects of water or water vapour pressure on the underside of the tiles must be prevented.
This can cause the loosening of the tiles.
